surpisingly.... amazingly well.. its bloody awful on the road (thanks to full crosser tyres) but on the lanes, the suspension we built is bloody amazing to be blunt. Massively travel, perfect spring rate, and i played about with the damping to get it just right. It floats now over some pretty big bumps considering the size of it.

I can only just get my tippy toes down though. Its a MASSIVE bike.

still got the ktm fairing to go on, i just put the stock one on to get its through its first mot (as it was just going to be easier really)

engine is very tractable, doesnt wheelie or anything, just shoves it forward.

so far im pleased with the weight savings, it weighs 190 kilos fully brimmed (thats 28 litres of fuel!) when i replace the modified stock wheel (its got heavy duty spokes and an 18" rim) with the talon setup, it will lose another 4 kilos.

had an issue with the front brake, i managed to shear off 4 of the bobbins on the full floating 320mm disc on its maiden ride (about 2 hours before the booked in mot!) so had to quickly lob the stock wr disc on, and it cant cope.. at all! smoke was pouring off the caliper after some heavy abuse. Trying to source some replacement bobbins for the supermoto disc but struggling

well a few more bits are on the "big" now...



a braking 4 pot billet caliper and braking 320mm supermoto disc... is a mild improvement over the stock wr set up to say the least! .. .it also looks amazing!

the ktm rallye fairing is now properly mounted, just need to make a bracket to hold the speedo drive, mount the ignition lock etc ..little odds and sods really. Oh and some little fairing panels to mate the ktm fairing to the bigs tank... followed by a respray in .. i was thinking redbull colours?



I replaced the soft pannier carriers with hard pannier carriers ready for a big journey
